How to get the false lash look without fake lashes!

We all love to wear false lashes but they can literally be a pain when the glue gets in your eye! Ouch! So I have come up with some very effective tips to help you achieve the false lash look without actually buying false lashes.

1. Begin with mascara and make up clean lashes to achieve the longest lashes you can get.
2. Apply a tiny little bit of Vaseline to your lashes. Over time this will help them grow longer thicker and darker, it also helps you eyebrows to grow back quicker if you have over plucked!
3. Separate lashes using a lash brush.
4. Use a eyelash curler BEFORE you apply mascara as if mascara is applied first the lashes won't curl as good. Start as close as you can to the root of the lashes and curl. Gradually move outwards towards the end of the lashes and keep curling. Hold for a couple of seconds to get a better curl in the lashes.
5. Use a eyelash primer too before applying mascara. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on some of the more well known brands such as MAC or Rimmel London the less expensive ones work just as well, it's only needed to prime the lashes!
6. Another tip is to apply your mascara in zig zag motions from root to tip, and dab at the very tip of the lashes to try get them to look as long as they possibly can.
7. Buy a mascara that is as dark in colour as you can get. Also I find that a brown mascara can actually make lashes long really long. Try using brown mascara at the tip of your lashes.
8. Use a eyeliner of your preference on the top and bottom rims of your eyes to achieve that fuller lash line look, which gives the impression of longer lashes. If you want try using a gel liner as it's more defined than a pencil.
9. If you want your eyelashes to curl even more try heating it up with a hair dryer for a brief few seconds but make sure that it's not to hot incase it burns the rim of your eyes!
10. Apply 2-3 coats of mascara on your lashes to get a thicker effect. Make sure each coat dries before applying the next coat!
