We tend to spend a lot of money on facial products from makeup to moisturiser, on average a women spends $15,000 in her life on beauty products! That is a lot of money.. So here's a way to reduce the money spent on beauty products by making your own homemade face masks. Not only is it cheaper but it's better for your skin too as it's all natural products used! There is a face mask recipe for every skin type so this suits everybody.

Dry skin: honey and avocado are very good ways to moisturise your skin and this mask works very well in combating dry skin. With only two natural ingredients your skin will feel great. Make sure to buy a ripe, fresh avocado and mash half of it into a creamy mixture. Add about 1-2 heaped table spoons of honey and mix it all up together. Apply the mixture to the face and leave on for about 10 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water and a facial cloth.

Oily skin: if you are prone to breakouts and have oily skin then this face mask will really benifit you. All you need if 1 banana, honey and a lemon. Firstly mash up the banana in a bowl and add 1-2 tablespoons of honey and 10 drops of lemon juice, try use a fresh lemon and not lemon juice bought in a shop. Mix up all the ingredients and apply to the face, after 10-15 minutes wash it off with some lukewarm water.

Normal skin: if you have normal skin and you want to make it feel refreshed, using a few drops of the juice from a fresh orange mix it with 1-2 tablespoons of warm honey. Apply to the face for around 20 minutes and wash off with some cold water to make your skin feel even more cleansed.

Combination skin: this skin type ranges from oily skin to dry skin, if you have this skin type it can be    very hard to look after it. Try this face mask using little under a half of a banana, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of full fat milk and an egg white. Mix it all up together and apply to the skin focusing on the t-zone (forehead, nose and chin), wash off with lukewarm water after about 15-20 minutes.

Sensitive skin: when it comes to sensitive skin it can be hard to find products that don't irritate your skin, so this face mask works really well and soothes the skin if it's irritated. Use half a cup of some natural yougurt just out of the fridge and mix with half a cup of oatmeal, apply this to the face for about 20 minutes and wash off with some warm water and your skin will feel much better!
