Bad Hair Day? Here's the survival guide!

Bad hair day? Lets face it we've all had one and sometimes they can be really bad, but before you go reaching for a hat or even a paper bag (it can be that bad) to cover up have a read of this first. So whether your hair is greasy, frizzy or is just being difficult to the point where you want to shave it all off then this post is for you, it may even be a social life saver.

1. Dry Shampoo: This is the ultimate must have hair product that every girl should have! If you don't you NEED to buy it! It's not expensive at all and can really turn a bad hair day into a good one! If you wake up with oily hair that's limp then spray some dry shampoo in and ta-da .. you have hair that looks shiny and voluminous! It leaves the oil in your hair for longer which we all know is great for your hair and takes away the oily limp look. My fave dry shampoo has to be the Batiste brand, they all have a gorgeous scent, work really well and are very affordable at around €2-€3

2.Curling wand: In a few well spent minutes a curly want can really turn frizzy untamed hair into defined waves or curls. It really is an investment in the long run. I bought the Remington Pearl curling wand for €27.99 in Boots during the Christmas sales 2 years ago and it's still working perfectly. It heats up very quickly and the temperature is adjustable which is a good feature if you don't want too much heat damage on your hair (less damage = less bad hair days). They are still being sold and I would recommend anyone to buy the Remington Pearl curling wand.

3. Sock Bun: You can turn frizzy, untamed hair or even limp, dull hair into a gorgeous high bun. You can use either a old sock by cutting off the very top and roll it or by spending €2 in and hair accessory shop for the foam hair piece. Or even just throw your hair up into a big messy bun. A bun can really change your hair from dull to stylish in seconds.

4.Side Plait: If your hair is all frizzy and untamed, through your hair into a side plait and your bad hair day is gone! Takes seconds to do and solves the problem!

5. Straightner: Give your hair a brush and straighten it out and ta-da your hair will look perfeeeect! A quick straighten will turn unruly hair into pin straight hair. Spray a bit of garnier 3 day sleek and shine to keep it sleek and shiny, it work's like a treat! I swear by it!

To try and avoid bad hair days the best you can do is try to keep your hair in good condition. This means get it trimmed regularly to get rid of those dreaded split ends which every girl hates to see in her hair! It can make you hair look dry. Try to avoid washing your hair every day to let the oils nourish it and use dry shampoo instead. Washing your hair too often can leave it dry and weighed down with hair product. Try avoid dying your hair as this really ruins your hair for good, it causes it to look dry and causes split ends. Use a really good conditioner after shampooing on the ends of your hair. I recommend using Aussie Miracle Shine for dull, limp, dry hair. Comb your hair gently when its wet and never use a bobbin to tie it up when it's wet as the hair is more fragile so it will cause damage to the hair. Let your hair dry naturally when you can to avoid unnecessary hair damage also avoid towel drying hair, this will cause more damage. Use a shampoo and conditioner suited to your hair type whether it's greasy, frizzy or dry.
