Get Taylor's Look At The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show!
So I am really in LOVE with Taylor's gorgeous look at the Victoria's Secret fashion show which she preformed at recently. I saw the picture in a magazine and she look's flawless and her dress is amazing! So here's how to achieve her look in perfect time for New Year's.
Makeup: Taylor's makeup is overly done, it's kept simple, natural and light. Firstly start off with a foundation that suits your skin tone and is light in colour (I prefer Catrice 18h Photo Finish liquid founation). Apply the foundation lightly as you don't want a heavy, caked look. For this make up you don't want a matte look so use minimal powder, only use it if you need to even out your skin tone. Her cheeks have a subtle pink glow to them and her cheekbone is highlighted, so to do this use a very light blush. Try using Dream Mousse by Maybelline New York, and apply it sparingly because you just want a light glow on the cheeks. To highlight the cheekbone use High Beam complexion enhancer by benefit to get that shimmery glow. Next, for the eyes it's just a smokey eye with some black eyeliner to make it stand out. Taylor's eyes aren't over done, they are kept to a minimal but still stand out. Try using the Sephora baked eyeshadow trio in Black Light and line the top and bottom lid, lighly smudge the top lid for a more smokey look. Add a little bit of highlighter/shimmery white eyeshadow to the inner eye (tear duct).
Hair: Taylor's hair is sleek, shiny and straight. To achieve this, wash the hair with Aussie Miracle Shine shampoo and conditioner, before drying spray in some Garnier 3 Day Sleek and Shine heat protection spray. Blow dry the hair straight until dry, then use a straighter if necessary.
Dress: I'm guessing you don't want to spend $8,971 on Taylor's actual dress so I found some dresses like it which are affordable, just click the link's below!
Shoes: Here's some similar shoes I've found online to Taylor's.
My Top 10 songs of 2013!
This year is music was brilliant! So after scrolling through all the songs on my iPhone and watching YouTube videos I finally picked my top 10 songs of this year, it was really hard to choose but I did it. I think Miley Cyrus was definitely 2013's hottest artist after dominating the charts with We Can't Stop and Wrecking Ball! Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines was the hottest song this summer (I watched a parody of Blurred Lines and can't ever listen to the original, it's never going to be the same *sob*) and of course Lorde's song Royals which is being overplayed right now but I still love. There are other great songs that I loved this year but these songs were just my fave!
1. Rightfully earning the first spot it has to be Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke ft. Pharrell Williams and Daft Punk, it was the HOTTEST song of this summer and has over 242 million views on YouTube .. wow! And I am in love with this song!
2. She is the most controversial artist right now but Miley has to be at number 2 with We Can't Stop, let's face it we love to hate her but hate to love her! And the video? I think we all loved it too..
3. I was torn between 2 songs for the spot at number 3 but I decided it had to be Ylvis, What Does The Fox Say, this song makes no sense that I love it! It scored nearly 310 million hits on YouTube!
4.It has to be Royals by Lorde, I am going to admit though that this song is getting on my nerves at the moment! It's overplayed on the radio but it still deserves to be in the top 5!
5.Earning the 5 place on my top 10 is Justin Timberlake with Mirrors!
6. Number six is definitely going to be Best Song Ever by One Direction! Great music video and A LOT of hits on YouTube!
7. Number 7 is going to be Wrecking Ball! I have to admit the music video might have been a little bit provocative but the song was great and we love Miley!
8. Imagine Dragons, Radioactive is at number 8. I really like this song but I had to place it at number 8.
9. Second last spot goes to Icona Pop I Love It! It's a great song so it had to be in my top 10
10. Last but not least is Katy Perry Roar! I was torn for number 10 between this and Taylor Swift I Knew You Were Trouble, but Katy Perry earned it! It has over 293 million hits so it had to be Roar!

Dry Skin? Here's The Remedy!
As girls (and some boys) we are constantly worrying about how we look and how our skin looks (I know I am anyway!). Many of us suffer from annoying skin conditions that ranges from dry skin to eczema to psoriasis! I have found the perfect 100% natural, 100% good results treatment for all these skin conditions. I used to suffer from eczema and could never use scented soaps or anything like that on my skin, but while I was on holiday in Enniscrone, Sligo a few years back there was a street market, one of the stands were selling powered seaweed and seaweed soap. We bought some to help my skin, I was a bit sketchy about using it to begin with but when I used it my skin felt amazing! The company is called Aalgo and are based in England. The seaweed is 100% natural and is the only ingrediant used. You can add it to a bath, foot spa or if your dry skin or eczema is on your face you can mix the powder up with a few drops of water into a paste and apply to the skin and leave it on for a while and wash off. Straight away your skin feels amazing! You can buy the product online at aalgo.com , click on the link if you want to check it out. But trust me if you have dry skin you can't clear up aalgo is definitely worth a shot! After using it in baths I can now use scented soaps and perfume on my skin! I really recommend it!
Bad Hair Day? Here's the survival guide!
Bad hair day? Lets face it we've all had one and sometimes they can be really bad, but before you go reaching for a hat or even a paper bag (it can be that bad) to cover up have a read of this first. So whether your hair is greasy, frizzy or is just being difficult to the point where you want to shave it all off then this post is for you, it may even be a social life saver.
1. Dry Shampoo: This is the ultimate must have hair product that every girl should have! If you don't you NEED to buy it! It's not expensive at all and can really turn a bad hair day into a good one! If you wake up with oily hair that's limp then spray some dry shampoo in and ta-da .. you have hair that looks shiny and voluminous! It leaves the oil in your hair for longer which we all know is great for your hair and takes away the oily limp look. My fave dry shampoo has to be the Batiste brand, they all have a gorgeous scent, work really well and are very affordable at around €2-€3
2.Curling wand: In a few well spent minutes a curly want can really turn frizzy untamed hair into defined waves or curls. It really is an investment in the long run. I bought the Remington Pearl curling wand for €27.99 in Boots during the Christmas sales 2 years ago and it's still working perfectly. It heats up very quickly and the temperature is adjustable which is a good feature if you don't want too much heat damage on your hair (less damage = less bad hair days). They are still being sold and I would recommend anyone to buy the Remington Pearl curling wand.
3. Sock Bun: You can turn frizzy, untamed hair or even limp, dull hair into a gorgeous high bun. You can use either a old sock by cutting off the very top and roll it or by spending €2 in and hair accessory shop for the foam hair piece. Or even just throw your hair up into a big messy bun. A bun can really change your hair from dull to stylish in seconds.
4.Side Plait: If your hair is all frizzy and untamed, through your hair into a side plait and your bad hair day is gone! Takes seconds to do and solves the problem!
5. Straightner: Give your hair a brush and straighten it out and ta-da your hair will look perfeeeect! A quick straighten will turn unruly hair into pin straight hair. Spray a bit of garnier 3 day sleek and shine to keep it sleek and shiny, it work's like a treat! I swear by it!
To try and avoid bad hair days the best you can do is try to keep your hair in good condition. This means get it trimmed regularly to get rid of those dreaded split ends which every girl hates to see in her hair! It can make you hair look dry. Try to avoid washing your hair every day to let the oils nourish it and use dry shampoo instead. Washing your hair too often can leave it dry and weighed down with hair product. Try avoid dying your hair as this really ruins your hair for good, it causes it to look dry and causes split ends. Use a really good conditioner after shampooing on the ends of your hair. I recommend using Aussie Miracle Shine for dull, limp, dry hair. Comb your hair gently when its wet and never use a bobbin to tie it up when it's wet as the hair is more fragile so it will cause damage to the hair. Let your hair dry naturally when you can to avoid unnecessary hair damage also avoid towel drying hair, this will cause more damage. Use a shampoo and conditioner suited to your hair type whether it's greasy, frizzy or dry.

Perfect Christmas Day Outfit
I love these pieces I put together on Polyvore. It's perfect for Christmas day as it's casual, comfortable but yet stylish! A collared blouse, skater skirt and a high sock bun is just so gorgeous together! And if you want to put some edge into it, pair it with some black stud earrings and a black ring! I love these shoes as the match the collar on the blouse and pull the whole look together!
How to choose the correct shade of red lipstick
We all know Tay loves to rock a red lip and does it amazingly, but we sometimes find it hard to find the right shade of red that suits us and our skin tone (I feel like crying when I try to pick out a red lipstick, it's so hard but it's now made easier .. yaaay!)
Firstly you need to figure out your skintone, and when that's done you can go figure out which shade suits you the best.
Porcelain: If you have porcelain skin avoid glossy lips, matte compliments the skin best. For light hair choose a orange-red matte to draw focus to the lips, for darker hair stick with a pinker matte.
Fair skin: The best shade to suit fair skin is either a bold red or a dark plum colour. If you're wearing blush a bolder red shade will compliment your cheeks. Make sure to avoid orange-red lipstick.
Dark skin: If you have dark skin I would advise leaning towards a deep red to purple colour. If you want your lips to stand out apply a thick gloss. If you want to achieve even more of a pop line your lips or apply a lipstick 2 shades darker.
Light brown: Shades that suit best for this skin tone are dark plums or dark reds. Try to stick to a matte lipstick and avoid using a gloss.
Bronze skin: This skin type can just about sport any shade of lipstick. For an big pop of colour try a bright red or for a casual daytime look sport a dark pink colour.
Hints&Tips
- Take the colour of your lips into account to and not just your skintone.
- Seek the advice of a make up artist
- Test the lipstick before you buy it!

Gorgeous Alternative Fishtail Hairstyle
How wow is this gorgeous messy hairstyle?
I really love it as its effortless and simple!
It's perfect for Christmas Day or when you don't
have the time for anything complicated!
And of course here's the how to:
Start off with damp hair and apply some
volumising mousse in the ends of your
hair.
Blowdry your hair without using a
brush.
When it's dry, take two 1-2 inch
sections from each side of your
head.
Twist each section until you reach
the back of your head.
Then begin to plait the two pieces
together in a fish tail.
Secure the end with a thin bobbin that
matches your hair colour.
If you want to define the waves even more
use a curling wand for no more than 5 seconds
on each section of hair, as you want to achieve a
wave and not a curl.

Me, Kaz playing my guitar :) |
This website is brilliant for finding chords to your favourite songs.
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/
A, B, C, D, E, F, G. With these chords there is hundreds of songs possible to perfect once you have the notes, just keep practising! One year later, and I'm very happy with the results of self teaching guitar and id recommend it to anyone interested in music.
No one wants to be sick for Christmas!
- Dont forget that it is okay to just relax and try to get as much sleep as is reasonable when you are sick. It can also be helpful to try and stay in a positive frame of mind as opposed to focusing on how miserable you may feel. Dwelling on the negative too much is just going to make time seem to pass more slowly, and you never know, maybe there's something to the idea of thinking yourself well.
- Rest and keep warm, make sure that it is not noisy. Noisy places tend to cause headaches and stuff which could delay recovery.

Red Tartan Playsuit
As we all know the tartan print is really on trend right now and it's being
seen all over the catwalk this season. I found this red tartan play-suit
and I really think it's fab! It costs €38 but it's really worth the spend!
The vintage look is also really in right now and if you pair this play-suit
with a brooch from www.moochroom.com for around €10 and a plain
white, long-sleeved, collared shirt it effortlessly brings two trends together!
What I really love about this play-suit is you can dress it up with a pair of
black heels, or keep it casual by wearing some dark grey knee-high socks
and some crown vintage ankle boots !
Guess what trend is back?
Seeing as spring/summer 2013 had us all infatuated with the ankle
boot, fall/winter 2013 brings back the over-the-knee boots which
I am really falling in love with! I'm so excited to see this
AMAZING trend all over the catwalk this season!
You might think that these boots are hard to pull off but they are so
wearable! Team the boots with a below the knee coat or dress and you
won't go wrong!
Click here to check out some over-the-knee boots I found for under €50!

How To Perfect The Flick
The key to this is to take your time, and stick with it. Practice really does make perfect. I know liquid eyeliner looks like it’s been drawn in one swoop, however that is not the case.
You can use a pencil, gel liner or a liquid, just use whatever works best for you! Start by pouring a small amount of product on the back of your hand. I find this the best way to work the gel liner into my brush, and make my brush go into a pointed shape.
Then push the product well into the lash line. It does not have to be neat at this stage. It just makes sure there will be no skin showing between the lashes and the liner. There is nothing worse than a floating flick!!
I then add more product to the brush and reshape it to the point again. Take the line nice and thin into the inner corner of the eye. Also neaten up the top of the line across the lashes so it looks neat and smooth. Plot in the flick. Do this lightly to start with using a pencil, so if you make a mistake you can change it.
I look straight in the mirror and draw the first line from the bottom lashes and upwards. Then working back from the point flick, gently sketch and join it to the line created on the top of the lashes. Once you are happy with the position of the flick, add more product to your brush again and fill in the line. A perfect liner should start thin, then thicken up so it flows over the lashes and finish to a nice slim point.
