Case 39 Movie

 I watched this movie last night on Netflix called Case 39, I was looking for something scary but not too gruesome or weird and this was perfect! (I still kept the lights on though) 

Renée Zellweger plays Emily, a concerned social worker confronted with the toughest case of her career. She suspects 12 year old Lily (Jodelle Ferland) is being abused by her sinister parents. One night, Emily gets a desperate phone call from the child who is terrified! Emily's desperate attempt at rescue is just the beginning of her problems. Lilly is not what you would expect from a 12 year old girl, she is a nightmare!! Bradley Cooper plays a child's therapist in this so it is most certainly a must see movie!

Valentine's Inspired Hair and Makeup!

Elegant and simply pretty Valentine's hair and make-up.

If you don't want to over do your hair and make-up for Valentine's day, you just want to keep it simple but noticeable then I have the perfect tutorial for you! 

Make-up:

I have taken some inspiration from this eye make-up look. As this look is simple, I have toned the dramatic look down. 

This look is all about elegance and simplicity so a pale subtle pink eye palette is the best colour to use.

 

I would suggest using the Rimmel London Glam'Eyes Trio Eyeshadow in colour 624 Lynx, which is pictured here! 

To start off the look use the pastel pink colour all around the lid of the eye and around the tear duct which adds brightness to the eyes and face. Apply this well and make sure the colour shows.

Blend the darker colour, preferably a purple hue into the crease of the eye. Make sure it blends well but don't use too much of it! Only a small bit just to show that it's there. 

Next, use the lightest colour around the tear duct and blend up into the brow bone but not the whole way.

Then using a pencil eye liner, try using a dark brown or dark grey and line underneath the eye as in the picture above. Then use some liquid or gel eye-liner and line the top lid in a thin line to begin with, gradually make it the smallest bit thicker and flick it at the end. Use a small flick and don't go heavy on the liner as you want an elegant, effortless look.

For the rest of the make-up use a minimal amount of foundation and leave the focus on the eyes. Use a small bit of highlighter on the cheekbones to brighten the face and go lightly on the blush too. 

Next for the hair! 

Again, this is going to be simple and look effortless but yet pretty. For this some simple curls will really pull this look together. You don't want really thin curls and you don't want them too layered. So tie your hair up into a pony tail and curl the hair as normal, this leaves the curls bouncy and doesn't leave the roots of you hair crimped! You should achieve curls like these pictured below! Spray in a light weight hairspray to keep the curls bouncy! Add some extra bounce by running your fingers through your hair. Don't use a hair brush as this will tend to flatten them out!

Pitch Perfect 2?

Queue the screams and fangirling .. Anna Kendrick teasing deets about Pitch Perfect 2?

She is just as excited as the rest of us about the sequel to Pitch Perfect 2, she chatted with E! News and gave some hints about what we can expect from the big screen hit! 


"I can see it picking up in the year 3000 when we're all cryogenically frozen," she joked. "And our voices are digital and we're breaking the sound barrier."

It has been speculated that the music featured in the sequel will be a lot different to the original.


"Basically, the truth is, I don't know. I wish I had information. Right now, I know nothing," Kendrick explained.


Best news ever about the sequel is that Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy) has been signed to return to the big screen! When asked about the rest of the cast returning she said "I hope so, certainly!"



I can't wait for the movie to hit the big screen, lets hope it's really soon!

Miley gives JB advice, should we be more worried about Justin now?

She is known for her outrageous performance at the VMA's with Robin Thicke, her twerking in music videos, flying around naked on a wrecking ball and much more but Miley has never been arrested for driving under the influence but Biebs has, maybe we should keep that in mind!

Recently Miley appeared on The Tonight With Jay Leno to promote her Bangerz tour and give some words of wisdom to the 19 year old pop star, Justin Bieber (who is in desperate need of advice).

"You've got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don't get in trouble and party at your house," Cyrus advised Bieber. "Buy a house, and add a club to it."

Miley Cyrus has clearly given him advice in the past (which he obviously didn't heed) telling Rolling Stone in August 2013, "I'm not much older than him, so I never want it to feel like I'm mentoring him. But I do mentor him in a way. Because I've been doing this s--t for a long time, and I already transitioned, and I don't think he's quite done it yet."

Maybe with Miley looking after Bieber he might back on the right path, or maybe not?

DIY Phone Accessories

This is a brilliant and simple diy idea! It's my project for the day :) Style up your phone charger, headphones, wires anything in that category really, by decorating with tape, felt or some girly glitter! 

What you'll need:

WASHI TAPE (this is the really nice patterned tape) Try in a stationary section in a supermarket or a schools supplies shop might sell it. It can be bought from only 1 euro depending on the design you want. You can also buy online if it isn't in any local shops --> http://www.cutetape.com/shop/japanese-washi-masking-tape.html

ITEM (phone charger, ear phones) it's pretty clear that to do this you need the item of your choice to decorate.

You can always use white masking tape and draw on a design if you are a creative person that loves to draw :)

*for glitter decoration

You will need.. 

Any kind of glitter you want,

Clear Calla tape to tape around the charger so that the

glitter doesn't run off where you don't want it,

Clear Nail polish to put over the glitter when it dries

just to keep it in place,

PVA Glue to stick the glitter,

A Paintbrush if you want to brush the glitter on but

this is optional. :)

Studs etc. just if you want to add a little bit more like

the picture shows below.
